Vestfold International Stage presents the concert performance “Still, They Sing”, touring at the end of September.
The concert performance “Still, They Sing” was composed by Liv Runesdatter, based on the poetry of Yemen’s “national poet,” Mansur Rajih. She is joined by a band of internationally acclaimed musicians from Norway, Sweden, India and Palestine.
Runesdatter is a musician and composer based in Stavanger. She has travelled the world with Rajih’s poetry, but this summer she moved back to her childhood island of Nøtterøy. In autumn 2026, she celebrates her 25th anniversary as a performing artist.
Vestfold International Stage is a collaboration between the libraries of Vestfold and Vestfold County Library. The programme brings artists and writers from different parts of the world to local audiences. Vestfold County Municipality coordinates and facilitates the activities at the various venues, which are primarily located in libraries.
